SAP HANA XSA Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA XSA Developer with strong expertise in HANA 2.0 modeling, Calculation Views, XSA backend services, and SAP Fiori analytical dashboards. The candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing reporting solutions, supporting business users, and delivering enhancements across SAP Finance and other business domains.

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP HANA reports using Calculation Views, Table Functions, and SQLScript.
• Design and develop graphical Calculation Views using Join, Union, Projection, Aggregation, and Rank nodes.
• Build Star Schema models using Fact and Dimension views.
• Implement currency conversion, unit of measure handling, input parameters, variables, hierarchies, and analytic privileges.
• Develop and maintain HANA XSA backend services using Node.js and REST/OData endpoints.
• Work with HDI artifacts, synonyms, roles, and cross-container data access.
• Develop SAPUI5/Fiori analytical dashboards using OData services, VizFrame charts, SmartFilterBar, ALP, and OVP.
• Configure OData annotations, manifest.json, routing, and application models.
• Optimize Calculation Views and SQLScript using PlanViz, pruning, aggregation push-down, and performance analysis.
• Develop and support reports using Analysis for Office (AO), Web Intelligence (WebI), and other reporting tools.
• Provide post-implementation support, bug fixes, enhancements, upgrades, and end-user support.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into effective reporting solutions.
• Follow Agile/Scrum practices and source code management standards.

Mandatory Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP HANA development, including SAP HANA XSA.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA 2.0, Calculation Views, and SQL/SQLScript.
• Experience with Table Functions, HANA Information Models, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA XSA, SAP Web IDE, Eclipse, HANA Studio, and Git.
• Experience with Node.js backend services and REST/OData services.
• Hands-on experience with HDI artifacts, synonyms, and container-based development.
• Experience developing or supporting SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 analytical dashboards.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
