HANA DBA
Key Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, migrate, and maintain SAP HANA databases and Hana DB Architecture (Cluster), SQL queries analysis, Performance tuning
- Monitor HANA systems, configure alerts, and automate routine tasks.
- Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Manage backups, recovery, security, users, and roles.
- Work with tools like HANA Studio, HANA Cockpit, SDA/SDI.
- Administer scale-out HANA landscapes and collaborate with functional teams.
- Use Shell scripting or Python for automation; Jenkins experience is a plus.
- Provide rotating shift and 24x7 production support.
Other essential Skills
- Hands-On experience in Linux administration tasks.
- Hands-on experience with backups, recovery, and issue troubleshooting.
- Good Knowledge of ITSM processes.
