Experience

• More than 6 years of SAP GTS development experience
• Must act as e2e responsible for technical deep dive into SAP GTS areas (Compliance, Customs, Classification etc.)

Key Skills & Expertise

• Hands-on experience in:
• SAP GTS Compliance Management, Customs Management
• Integration and configuration in conjunction with feeder systems
• ABAP for SAP HANA, SAP GTS 11.0 or Edition 4 HANA
• 2-3 Roll-out projects or implementations of SAP GTS globally
• ABAP objects; ALE/IDOC, SAP FIORI
• Technical Architecture Design: Translate complex functional requirements into highly detailed Technical Specification Documents (TS) mapping data structures, flowcharts, and error-handling matrices.
• Modern Frameworks: Implement non-invasive business logic extensions using Implicit and Explicit Enhancement Options, alongside classic and kernel-based Business Add-Ins (BAdIs).
• Deep-Dive Debugging: Isolate elusive technical faults using the ABAP Dynamic Log, Internal Breakpoints (User/Session), and External Breakpoints for inbound HTTP/RFC traffic.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize slow-running database operations using SQL Trace (ST05), Runtime Analysis (SAT), and ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) to enforce memory limits.
• Strong ABAP expertise in SAP GTS, including:
• BAdIs, Enhancements, User Exits, APIs, and performance optimization
• Solid functional understanding of:
• Export control and general foreign trade principles
• Integration with ERP processes in SAP SD, MM, Service for S/4 HANA etc.

Responsibilities

• Drive SAP GTS solution delivery initiatives across projects, L3 topics etc.
• Implement technical enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Frameworks).
• Support functional concepts with technically robust and scalable solutions
• Debug, performance-tune, and support all testing and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with solution architects, technical leads & analysts to ensure that new solutions are delivered within a consistent framework.
• Develop quality code & its associated documentation adhering to SAP clean core standards.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
