SAP FICO Techno-Functional Consultant

Position Summary

The SAP FICO Techno-Functional Consultant will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO) processes within the Hyundai WIA manufacturing environment. The role requires close coordination with Finance, Production, Procurement, IT Infrastructure, and SAP support teams to ensure stable business operations, timely issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.

Key Skills Required

• Strong working knowledge of SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders).
• Experience in SAP support and manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of finance and accounting business processes.
• Basic technical knowledge of SAP interfaces, master data, IDocs, and integrations.
• Basic technical knowledge in ABAP coding.
• Experience in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Knowledge of SAP authorization concepts and user administration.
• Exposure to SAP integration with MM, SD, PP, and MES systems.
• Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for SAP FICO users and business operations.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP FICO incidents and service requests.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
• Coordinate with business users to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Monitor SAP interfaces and data integration between SAP and other business applications.
• Support master data management related to finance and controlling.
• Prepare functional specifications and support testing activities.
• Maintain documentation, process flows, and support records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, IT procedures, and information security requirements.
• Support SAP upgrades, patches, and new functionality deployments.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in automotive manufacturing industry is preferred.
• SAP implementation or rollout experience is an added advantage.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP MM, SD, PP and ABAP integration processes.
• Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, costing, and controlling processes.
