SAP FICO Senior Consultant AMS & S/4HANA

Location: Onsite Hazira, Surat, Gujarat
Platform: SAP S/4HANA Finance (2022 onwards)
Role Focus: AMS / Production Support / Rollout & Implementation

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO and S/4HANA Finance
• AMS, Production Support, Incident & Problem Management
• GST and India Taxation Implementation & Support (Mandatory)
• Proven experience in at least 2 SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, upgrades, or support projects
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, solution design, and stakeholder management
• Expertise in SAP FI: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking
• Expertise in SAP CO: Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profit Centers, COPA, and Settlements
• FI-CO integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules
• ITIL processes, SLA-driven support, testing, and documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Handle SAP FICO production incidents, service requests, and critical business issues.
• Perform functional troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and permanent issue resolution.
• Manage incident priorities, SLAs, ticket ageing, escalations, and stakeholder communication.
• Support GST and Indian taxation processes, configuration, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Participate in S/4HANA implementation, rollout, upgrade, enhancement, and stabilization activities.
• Coordinate with ABAP, BASIS, Security, and cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
• Prepare functional specifications, SOPs, knowledge articles, and support documentation.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• CA / CMA / MBA Finance or equivalent professional finance qualification.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification is an advantage.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, energy, EPC, or project-based industries.
• Exposure to greenfield/brownfield migration, RISE with SAP, and transformation programs.
• Experience leading or mentoring SAP FICO support teams.

Work Requirements

• Mandatory onsite work at Hazira, Surat.
• Must be comfortable working in shifts as per client requirements.
• Alternate Saturdays are working days.
• Follow the client’s holiday calendar and working hours.
