Sap Fico Functional Consultant

Role & responsibilities :

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 46 years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC support and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes, preferably within the automobile/manufacturing industry.

Roles & Responsibilities

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO with strong support and enhancement experience in ECC environments.
• Good understanding of finance and controlling processes within the automobile industry.
• Experience supporting Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), and Profit Center Accounting (PCA).
• Ability to work closely with business users to support and optimize automotive finance processes related to manufacturing, procurement, inventory valuation, dealer management, and sales.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FICO integration with MM, SD, and other logistics modules.
• Experience in preparing functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
• Hands-on exposure to RICEF objects, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Coordinate with ABAP and technical teams for development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Support and monitor inbound and outbound interfaces between SAP and external applications.
• Perform interface reconciliation, troubleshooting, testing, and issue resolution.
• Participate in month-end and year-end financial closing activities and ensure timely completion of all finance-related tasks.
• Analyze and resolve SAP FICO production support issues, ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Support change requests, enhancements, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a support environment.
