Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI & CO Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, Service Billing, Resource-Related Billing (RRB), and financial integration. The candidate should have hands-on experience in managing financial accounting, controlling, service cost allocation, revenue recognition, and end-to-end financial processes associated with service billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FI & CO modules in SAP S/4HANA.

• Manage core FI processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), and financial closing.

• Configure controlling processes, including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, and profitability analysis.

• Support Resource-Related Billing (RRB) processes from a finance and controlling perspective, including cost collection, cost allocation, and billing integration.

• Configure and support financial integration of service orders, service contracts, and project-based billing.

• Work on service cost capture, revenue postings, billing-related accounting entries, and reconciliation.

• Support settlement processes, revenue recognition, and profitability reporting for service-related transactions.

• Work with SAP S/4HANA Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) or Event-Based Revenue Recognition where applicable.

• Ensure seamless integration between SAP FI/CO, SD, PS, MM, and SAP S/4HANA Service.

• Configure account determination and validate financial postings generated through service billing transactions.

• Prepare functional specifications, perform unit testing, SIT, UAT, and support go-live activities.

• Investigate and resolve complex financial integration and billing-related issues.

Required Skills

• Minimum 8 years of relevant SAP FI & CO experience.

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience.

• Strong expertise in Service Billing, RRB financial integration, cost allocation, settlement, and revenue accounting.

• Good understanding of DIP-based billing processes and integration with SD and PS.

• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Universal Journal (ACDOCA), financial postings, and reconciliation.

• Strong knowledge of FI/CO integration with SD billing and service management.

• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation.

• Ability to independently configure and troubleshoot complex financial processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud or on-premise environments.

• Experience with project accounting, professional services billing, and contract related financial processes.

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori financial applications.

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Service, RAR, or Event-Based Revenue Recognition.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
