Sap Fico Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Gather business requirements for SAP FICO implementation, enhancements, and change requests.
• Configure SAP FICO modules, including GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, and Cost Centers.
• Perform gap analysis and identify process improvements.
• Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) for developments and enhancements.
• Work with BAPI, BADI, and IDocs for integrations and enhancements.
• Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and validate solutions.
• Maintain functional documentation and collaborate with business and technical teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CO, Project Systems, and Investment Management.
• Experience in SAP FICO implementation projects and enhancements.
• Knowledge of BAPI, BADI, IDocs, and Functional Specification (FS) preparation.
• Good understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Experience in gap analysis, configuration, and unit testing.
• SAP FICO ECC 6.0 certification preferred; S/4HANA certification is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period preferred.
