SAP FICO - Senior Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SAP FICO Senior Consultant with strong experience in SAP Finance and Controlling modules. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP implementations, client interactions, solution design, testing, and support activities across ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.

Mandatory Skills

• 3-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO.
• Minimum 1 end-to-end SAP implementation experience is mandatory.
• Experience in Greenfield and/or Brownfield implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in core FICO areas:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Bank Accounting
• Cost Centre Accounting
• Profit Centre Accounting
• Experience in business requirement gathering, configuration, and solution design.
• Hands-on experience in preparing Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
• Experience in UAT planning, execution, defect management, and user support.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience supporting Go-Live, Hypercare, and post-production activities.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Configure and support SAP FICO processes as per business needs.
• Conduct Fit-Gap analysis and recommend best practices.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams.
• Support integration with other SAP modules.
• Lead and assist UAT activities and business user training.
• Support deployment, cutover, and Go-Live activities.
• Engage directly with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Good to Have

• SAP FICO Certification.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation or migration projects.
• Exposure to data migration and cutover activities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Note: Candidates must have experience across at least one full-cycle SAP implementation from requirement gathering/design through Go-Live and Hypercare support.
