Sap Fico Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to implement, configure, support, and enhance SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) processes. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SAP FICO configuration, business process integration, testing, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules based on business requirements.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Configure General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
• Configure Controlling (CO) including Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Work on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, automatic payment processes, and bank reconciliation.
• Configure Financial Accounting organizational structures, company codes, fiscal years, posting periods, document types, and number ranges.
• Work with tax configuration, payment terms, validations, substitutions, and financial postings.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Develop and maintain integration between FICO and MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
• Analyze production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications for technical development when required.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and regression testing.
• Support data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and training materials.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP FI and CO configuration.
• Experience with GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling business processes.
• Experience with SAP MM and SD integration with FICO.
• Experience with month-end/year-end closing and financial reporting.
• Strong troubleshooting and production-support experience.
• Good understanding of SAP master data and financial documents.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Knowledge of Universal Journal / ACDOCA.
• Experience with Fiori.
• Exposure to SAP Central Finance.
• Experience with SAP Group Reporting.
• Knowledge of SAP CO-PA / Profitability Analysis.
• Experience with SAP Asset Accounting in S/4HANA.
• Experience in SAP implementation, migration, or upgrade projects.
