SAP FICO Consultant in Tech M Chennai

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in Accounts Payable (FI-AP) 8-10 years of experience to support SAP Finance requirements.

Location- Chennai

Key Responsibilities

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP FICO, with specialization in Accounts Payable.
• Hands-on understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay / Accounts Payable processes.
• Work with supplier/vendor master data, invoice processing, credit memos, open items and outgoing payments.
• Support automatic and manual payment processing, payment methods and bank-related payment activities.
• Handle payment terms, payment blocks, down payments, clearing and other AP-related scenarios.
• Strong understanding of FI-AP integration with MM, including PO, goods receipt and invoice receipt processes.
• Analyze and resolve AP-related production issues and support business users.
• Participate in requirement analysis, functional design, configuration, testing and defect resolution.
• Coordinate effectively with business, technical and cross-functional SAP teams.

SAPs documentation confirms that FI-AP covers supplier transactions, invoice processing, open payables and payment processing, with close integration between Accounts Payable and Materials Management.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on SAP FICO Accounts Payable (FI-AP) experience.
• Good understanding of AP accounting and payment processes.
• Strong FI-MM integration knowledge.
• Experience in configuration, testing, production support and issue resolution.
• Good customer-facing and communication skills.
• Must be willing to work from Chennai location. This is a mandatory customer requirement.
