About this role
Role Summary We are looking for an SAP FICO Business Analyst to support Finance and Controlling initiatives across business and analytics projects. The ideal candidate should have strong SAP FI/CO functional expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with Finance stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to deliver effective business solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRD, Functional Specifications).
- Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and finance process reviews with business users.
- Configure and support SAP FI/CO processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, and Product Costing.
- Coordinate and execute SIT/UAT testing, defect management, and business validation.
- Provide BAU support by troubleshooting SAP FI/CO functional and system issues.
- Perform financial data analysis, reconciliation, data validation, and root cause analysis.
- Support financial reporting and dashboards using Power BI, Incorta, or similar analytics tools.
- Work with development teams to manage enhancements, interfaces, and defect resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with SD, MM, and other SAP modules. Required Skills
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO).
- Good understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and financial accounting processes.
- Experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, and functional documentation.
- Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, defect tracking, and application support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and engage finance business users effectively.
