Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Lead Consultant to lead the design, configuration, implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of SAP Finance solutions on SAP S/4HANA. The role will work closely with Finance and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient financial processes, accurate reporting, successful implementations, and business user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP FI design, configuration, implementation, and continuous improvement in SAP S/4HANA.
• Manage and optimize General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting processes.
• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and transformation initiatives.
• Support and drive SAP S/4HANA RISE adoption and Finance transformation.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP FI with MM, CO, and SD modules.
• Handle FI configuration, validations, substitutions, enhancements, BAPI/BADI and other custom solutions.
• Lead testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and deployment.
• Support month-end/year-end financial closing, reporting, audit, and compliance activities.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely execution of financial processes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Provide functional leadership and resolve complex SAP FI issues.
• Mentor and guide junior SAP FI consultants and support Finance business users.
• Drive continuous improvement, process standardization, documentation, and user adoption.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI across GL, AP, AR, AA, and Banking.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Universal Journal.
• Knowledge of New Asset Accounting and other S/4HANA Finance innovations.
• Strong cross-module integration knowledge with SAP MM, CO, and SD.
• Experience with validations, substitutions, enhancements, BAPI and BADI.
• Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, configuration, testing, and production support.
• Knowledge of SAP RISE / Cloud adoption will be an added advantage.

Required Experience & Qualification

• 12+ years of overall SAP FI experience, with at least 4 years in a Lead/Senior Lead role.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Proven experience in end-to-end SAP implementations and rollouts.
• Strong experience in SAP FI configuration, integration, validation, and enhancements.
• CA / MBA (Finance) / B.Com / BBA or equivalent qualification.
• SAP Certification in Financial Accounting is preferred.
