Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions. The candidate should possess strong expertise in warehouse operations, logistics execution, inventory management, and SAP S/4HANA EWM implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP EWM solutions.
• Configure and support Warehouse Structure, Storage Types, Bins, Work Centers, and Resource Management.
• Implement and support:
• Inbound Processing
• Outbound Processing
• Putaway & Picking Strategies
• Physical Inventory
• Internal Warehouse Movements
• Cross-Docking and VAS
• Work on end-to-end SAP EWM implementations and rollout projects.
• Integrate SAP EWM with SAP S/4HANA, MM, SD, PP, and third-party warehouse systems.
• Prepare Functional Specifications (FS), testing documents, and training materials.
• Support SIT, UAT, Go-Live, and Hypercare activities.
• Provide production support and resolve critical warehouse issues.

Required Technical Skills

• SAP EWM Configuration and Support.
• SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM.
• Warehouse Management Processes.
• Inbound & Outbound Logistics.
• Putaway and Picking Strategies.
• Physical Inventory Management.
• Warehouse Task & Warehouse Order Management.
• Integration with SAP MM and SAP SD.
• Functional Specification Preparation.
• End-to-End Implementation Experience.

Good to Have

• SAP Retail Industry experience.
• Integration with third-party WMS/3PL systems.
• Knowledge of RF Framework.
• Basic ABAP Debugging.
• SAP EWM Certification.
• SAP BTP/CPI integration exposure.
