SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI)

We are hiring for SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI)

Exp: 6+ years

Location: Kolkata

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Consultant with strong functional knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting processes. The candidate should have hands-on experience in configuration, implementation, support, testing, and integration of SAP FI with other SAP modules.

Preferred Skills

• SAP S/4HANA Finance exposure.
• Experience with data migration and cutover activities.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to Finance.
• Experience working on implementation, rollout, upgrade, or support projects.
• SAP Finance certification is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP Financial Accounting (FI) processes.
• Work on General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), and Asset Accounting (FI-AA).
• Support bank accounting, payment processing, and financial closing activities.
• Configure organizational structures, company codes, fiscal year variants, posting periods, document types, and number ranges.
• Handle automatic payment processes, incoming/outgoing payments, and account determination.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Work on integration between SAP FI and MM/SD/CO.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FI solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications and support technical teams where necessary.
• Perform functional/unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide application support.
• Prepare configuration and functional documentation.
• Work closely with finance/business stakeholders and other SAP functional teams.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI).
• Strong knowledge of:
• FI-GL – General Ledger
• FI-AP – Accounts Payable
• FI-AR – Accounts Receivable
• FI-AA – Asset Accounting
• Bank Accounting
• Good understanding of financial accounting and business processes.
• Experience with FI integration with MM, SD, and CO.
• Experience in SAP configuration, testing, implementation, enhancement, or production support.
• Good understanding of month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
