We are seeking a SAP EDI Senior Software Engineer / Lead to join our Information Technology team at Fossil Group in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this dynamic and global company, you will drive end-to-end EDI integrations, support migration to modern platforms, and ensure robust, high-quality integration architecture.

What you will do in this role

• Design, develop, and support EDI/API integrations across SAP ECC (including AFS) and S/4HANA environments
• Configure and manage EDI processes including partner onboarding, mapping, job scheduling, and error resolution
• Lead migration initiatives from traditional EDI platforms to SAP BTP (CPI) and modern integration frameworks
• Develop and maintain EDI mappings using ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML formats, and associated tools
• Manage IDoc processing including creation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reprocessing within SAP
• Implement and support communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, and REST/HTTPS APIs
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and vendor teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Ensure solution quality, technical integrity, and adherence to IT standards through testing, documentation, and governance

Who You Are

• 4-10 years of experience in EDI/API integrations within SAP environments
• Strong expertise in EDI standards including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML
• Hands-on experience with SAP IDocs, partner profiles (WE20), output types, and EDI tables
• Experience with mapping tools including map creation, modification, troubleshooting, and partner onboarding
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, and REST/API integrations
• Familiarity with SAP BTP (CPI), OpenText (TLE), or similar integration platforms is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in global, cross-functional environments
