Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced

SAP Data Steward / Architect to lead the design, governance, and integration of enterprise data architecture for OHT Yokohama. This role will act as the

Sr. Data steward position , ensuring seamless stewardship of SAP data, codification of business rules, and integration with QlikSense dashboards. The candidate will be responsible for building a robust data foundation, enabling governance, and driving communication between SAP and QlikSense teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Stewardship & Governance
• Own and manage enterprise data stewardship across SAP Sales & MM modules.
• Establish governance frameworks: metadata, lineage, role‑based access, and quality monitoring.
• Codify business rules (revenue recognition, pricing, discounts, returns) into a governed semantic layer.
• SAP Data Architecture
• Design and implement scalable data architecture leveraging SAP S/4HANA (SD, MM, FI).
• Lead extraction and integration using SAP RISE / ODP‑OData CDC.
• Harmonize master data (customer, vendor, material, GL) across entities.
• SAP Report connectors/ SFTP connectors
• QlikSense Integration
• Collaborate with QlikSense on‑prem teams to ensure dashboards consume governed semantic layers.
• Guide Qlik developers on best practices for ingestion, set analysis, and performance tuning.
• Replace fragile multi‑tier QVD pipelines with structured, governed data models.
• Leadership & Communication
• Act as the senior data steward and board‑level representative for data governance.
• Mentor internal and contractor teams; bridge communication between business and technical stakeholders.
• Drive measurable outcomes: faster close cycles, reduced audit risk, scalable growth foundation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in

SAP data architecture and stewardship .

• Deep expertise in

SAP S/4HANA Sales & MM modules .

• Strong knowledge of

SAP RISE / ODP‑OData CDC extraction .

• Hands‑on experience with

QlikSense on‑prem enterprise (multi‑tier QVD pipelines, connectors).

• Proven track record in

data governance (metadata, lineage, audit exception detection).

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead enterprise‑grade data programs with measurable outcomes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with

Microsoft Purview for governance.

• Familiarity with

Azure Data Factory, Synapse/Fabric, ADLS Gen2, dbt .

• Knowledge of BI tools beyond QlikSense.
• Exposure to

audit exception frameworks (duplicate invoices, inactive vendors, revenue adjustments).

• Prior leadership in

multi‑entity consolidation projects .

Candidate Profile This is a

middle managerial role requiring a balance of

SAP native expertise, data stewardship, and QlikSense integration skills . The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, governance‑driven, and capable of delivering board‑level outcomes while mentoring technical teams.
