SAP Data Migration Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Planning: Define data migration roadmaps, timelines, and strategies.
• ETL Execution: Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data from legacy systems to SAP.
• Data Quality: Cleanse, profile, and validate data to ensure accuracy.
• Mapping & Loading: Map source data to target SAP structures and load data using tools like SAP BODS, LSMW, IDoc, or BAPI.
• Collaboration: Work with business users and functional consultants to understand requirements and validate data.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation for data migration processes and methodologies.

Required Technical Skills

• SAP Expertise: Hands-on experience with S/4HANA migration projects.
• ETL Tools: Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) or similar tools.
• Data Tools: Experience with SQL for data analysis.
• Legacy Systems: Knowledge of migrating from non-SAP or older SAP systems (ECC).
• Methodology: Familiarity with data profiling and cleansing techniques.

Common Job Requirements

• Experience: Generally 410+ years in IT/SAP Data Migration.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Certifications: SAP certification in Data Migration or S/4HANA is a plus.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
