Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled SAP Data Engineer to manage and optimize our end-to-end data integration, backend warehousing, and reporting pipelines. In this role, you will be responsible for core data extraction and warehousing, leveraging SAP BODS / CI-DS for robust ETL workflows, and SAP CDS Views for core data modeling. Additionally, you will develop and support our SQL Server data warehouse layer and empower business users by supporting SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) for Excel-based reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT workflows using SAP BODS or SAP CI-DS to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Create and optimize SAP CDS (Core Data Services) Views to deliver efficient core data modeling and extraction from SAP source systems.
• Develop, optimize, and support the SQL Server database layer, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Support business users by maintaining and configuring SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) to enable seamless self-service reporting and analytics directly within Microsoft Excel.
• Ensure high data quality, system reliability, and optimal performance across the backend warehouse and frontend reporting layers.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) or SAP CI-DS (Cloud Integration for Data Services).
• Proficient in creating and managing SAP CDS Views for advanced data modeling.
• Deep expertise in SQL Server development, including database design, maintenance, support, and query optimization.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in data engineering and ETL processes.
