Job Title: Finance Application Expert - SAP by Design

Team: Finance Application Support

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Application Expert to join our dedicated support team. The successful candidate will be a specialist in SAP by Design, with a primary focus on the finance modules. This role is ideal for a professional who is not only proficient in application support but also possesses a deep understanding of practical finance processes. You will act as a key liaison between the support team and our finance stakeholders, solving support issues and ensuring that we provide effective, business-oriented solutions that may encompass both system configurations and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Support: Provide support for SAP Business ByDesign finance modules, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth application performance.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with finance stakeholders to understand business challenges and deliver effective solutions.

Process Analysis: Evaluate finance processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend optimal process or system enhancements.

Solution Design: Develop and implement system-based and process-based solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Knowledge Sharing: Act as a subject matter expert, promoting best practices and sharing application knowledge across the team.

Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution, escalations, and updates on new features and functionalities.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Technical Skills:

• Proven experience as an application expert or superuser for SAP by Design, with a strong focus on the finance modules.
• In-depth knowledge of core finance processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with finance professionals at all levels, with the capacity to translate technical issues into business language and vice versa.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Finance, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience in SAP by design.
• Previous experience in a support team environment.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion is a significant advantage.
• Project management/participation experience
