Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP AI Developer with expertise in SAP Business AI, SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, Joule Extensibility, and Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and deploying AI-powered business solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role requires hands-on experience in AI solution development, SAP BTP services, Generative AI, and enterprise integrations to enable intelligent business processes across SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Business AI & AI Solution Development

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered business applications using SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, and SAP BTP services.
• Build custom AI and Generative AI solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Develop and operationalize machine learning and LLM-based use cases within enterprise environments.
• Create reusable AI services, workflows, and accelerators for SAP business processes.

Joule & AI Extensibility

• Develop and extend SAP Joule capabilities through custom skills, agents, and business process integrations.
• Configure and implement Joule-based conversational experiences.
• Integrate Joule with SAP and non-SAP applications to automate business operations.

SAP S/4HANA Embedded AI

• Configure, enable, and enhance embedded AI features across SAP S/4HANA modules.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to identify and implement AI-driven business improvements.
• Support intelligent automation and predictive capabilities within SAP business applications.

Generative AI & RAG Implementation

• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Develop prompt templates, orchestration workflows, and LLM integrations.
• Build AI assistants and enterprise knowledge search solutions using vector databases and embedding models.
• Optimize prompts, model performance, and response quality.

Integration & Development

• Develop integrations between AI solutions and SAP/non-SAP systems using:
• SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
• SAP Integration Suite
• REST APIs
• OData Services
• Event-driven architectures
• Build scalable backend services using Node.js, Java, and Python.
• Implement secure API integrations and data pipelines.

Deployment & Support

• Perform testing, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of AI applications.
• Support production environments and ensure scalable, reliable AI operations.
• Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD activities for AI application delivery.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, Data Scientists, and Business Stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI-enabled SAP solutions.
• Participate in architecture design, technical reviews, and innovation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP BTP development experience.
• Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in AI/ML and Generative AI technologies.
