Job Description (JD) – SAP BRIM SOM Consultant

Position: SAP BRIM SOM Consultant

Experience: 6–12 Years
Location: PAN India / Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BRIM SOM (Subscription Order Management) Consultant with 6–12 years of SAP experience and hands-on expertise in SAP BRIM solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of subscription lifecycle management, order orchestration, billing integration, and end-to-end BRIM processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support SAP BRIM SOM solutions for subscription-based business models.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Configure and customize SAP SOM processes including:
• Subscription Order Capture
• Order Fulfillment and Orchestration
• Product Modeling
• Contract Management
• Change Processes (Upgrade, Downgrade, Renewals, Cancellations)
• Integrate SOM with:
• SAP Convergent Charging (CC)
• SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI)
• SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM)
• SAP CRM/S4HANA
• Develop functional specifications and support technical development teams.
• Perform system testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across BRIM modules.
• Participate in solution design workshops and provide best practice recommendations.
• Prepare project documentation and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Skills

• 6–12 years of SAP experience with 3+ years in SAP BRIM SOM.
• Strong experience in:
• SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM)
• SAP BRIM Solution Architecture
• Product Catalog & Product Modeling
• Subscription Lifecycle Management
• Order Distribution & Fulfillment
• Master Data Management
• Good understanding of:
• SAP Convergent Charging (CC)
• SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI)
• FI-CA
• SAP S/4HANA integration
• Experience in integration technologies:
• SOAP/REST APIs
• Web Services
• SAP CPI/PI/PO
• Strong debugging and issue resolution skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Telecom, Media, Utilities, or Subscription-based industries.
• Exposure to SAP BRIM implementation or transformation projects.
• SAP BRIM/SOM certification preferred.
• Experience in Agile delivery methodologies.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
