Sap Ariba Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant with strong expertise in Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, Catalog Management, and Ariba Network. The candidate will be responsible for functional support, configuration, incident resolution, integrations, and end-to-end AMS activities across SAP Ariba environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, and Catalog modules.
• Gather business requirements and prepare functional specifications.
• Provide AMS support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and SLA management.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployments, releases, and hypercare activities.
• Troubleshoot PR, PO, invoice, and approval workflow issues.
• Resolve Ariba Network and supplier-related issues.
• Configure sourcing templates and support RFI, RFQ, RFP, and auction events.
• Support SAP Ariba Contracts lifecycle management, including contract creation, renewals, amendments, and compliance.
• Manage and support CIF, PunchOut, and Supplier Hosted Catalog processes.
• Handle supplier onboarding and catalog enablement activities.
• Monitor and resolve integration issues between SAP Ariba and SAP ECC/S/4HANA using SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG).
• Support and troubleshoot cXML transactions and integration-related issues.
• Coordinate with business users, suppliers, SAP support teams, and technical teams to ensure operational stability.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements.

AMS Expectations

• Provide timely resolution of incidents and service requests in line with defined SLAs.
• Perform detailed RCA for recurring and critical issues.
• Support production issues and coordinate with technical/integration teams when required.
• Maintain proper documentation of incidents, solutions, configurations, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in release management, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of SAP Ariba applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7–9 years of overall SAP Ariba experience, preferably with strong AMS/support and implementation exposure.
• Hands-on experience in SAP Ariba configuration and production support.
• Experience working with Ariba–SAP ECC/S/4HANA integrations.
• Strong experience in incident management, troubleshooting, and RCA.
• SAP Ariba Certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
