SAP ABAP ON S/4HANA Technical Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Technical Consultant with strong expertise in ABAP development and SAP Transportation Management (TM). The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP TM solutions within S/4HANA environments while collaborating with business and functional teams to deliver high-quality transportation and logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP TM applications using ABAP on HANA.
• Design and develop RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
• Build and support custom developments in SAP TM and SAP S/4HANA.
• Develop CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and HANA-optimized ABAP solutions.
• Work on Freight Order Management, Transportation Planning, Carrier Selection, and Freight Cost Management processes.
• Integrate SAP TM with ECC, EWM, SD, MM, and third-party logistics systems.
• Perform code optimization and performance tuning using HANA capabilities.
• Support production issues, enhancements, and implementation activities.
• Prepare technical design documents and unit test cases.

Must-Have Skills

• 5-8 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong experience in ABAP on HANA.
• Hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM).
• Expertise in:
• CDS Views
• AMDP
• OData Services
• Enhancements (BADI, User Exits)
• SmartForms / Adobe Forms
• ALE/IDoc
• RFC and Web Services
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
