Sap Abap Programmer / Consultant

Role & responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs including Reports, Interfaces,

Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF), custom applications and Rest API's.

2. Work on complex SAP projects, upgrades, and enhancements involving multiple SAP modules.

3. Develop and maintain ABAP objects including classical and interactive reports, ALV reports,

BAPIs, BADIs, BDCs, Smart Forms, Module Pool Programs.

4. Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to understand business requirements and

provide technical solutions.

5. Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of existing ABAP code.

6. Work on SAP enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits and Enhancements.

7. Provide technical documentation, testing support, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

9. Develop and integrate OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications to enable modern,

responsive user interfaces.

10. Utilize SAP Enhancement Framework (BADI, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements) to introduce

custom logic without modifying standard code.

11. Support integration scenarios using RFCs, BAPIs, and APIs between SAP and

third-party systems.

12. Develop SAP Scripts and enhance output layouts using Smart Forms based on

business requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

2-5 Years of Experience in ABAP.

Ability to effectively influence the stakeholders.

Proficiency & comfort with numbers.

Effective communication verbal, written & presentation.
