About this role
Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP applications using ABAP on Cloud, RAP, CDS Views, OData Services, Fiori, and SAP Business Application Studio.
- Develop custom SAP S/4HANA extensions using SAP BTP Extension Suite following Clean Core principles.
- Design and implement side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP.
- Work with BTP services such as SAP CAP, HANA Cloud, Integration Suite, Destination Services, IAS, Event Mesh, and Workflow Management.
- Build reusable services, APIs, business applications, reports, interfaces, workflows, and data-conversion programs.
- Develop SAP and non-SAP integrations using REST, SOAP, OData, Integration Suite, and API Management.
- Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDPs, HANA SQL Scripts, and Embedded Analytics.
- Support DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, transport management, production troubleshooting, code reviews, and technical documentation.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP and SAP BTP.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP OO, ABAP on Cloud, RAP, CDS Views, OData, SAP Fiori/UI5, and SAP HANA.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA extensions, APIs, and integrations.
- Hands-on exposure to SAP Business Application Studio and SAP Integration Suite.
- Understanding of SAP Clean Core and cloud-native development.
- Familiarity with SAP RISE, Git, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
