Job Overview -

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP, ABAP Objects, S/4HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, SAP Fiori and OData.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, testing and supporting SAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA environments, following modern SAP development standards and Clean Core principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain SAP ABAP applications and custom objects across ECC and S/4HANA.
  
• Develop using ABAP Objects / OO-ABAP and modern ABAP programming techniques.
  
• Design and optimize CDS Views for S/4HANA applications, reporting and data modeling.
  
• Develop and support AMDP and HANA-optimized solutions.
  
• Design and develop applications using RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
  
• Develop and support SAP Fiori backend services and OData services.
  
• Develop RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Workflows.
  
• Work with BAdIs, User Exits, Customer Exits and Enhancement Framework.
  
• Develop and maintain SmartForms and Adobe Forms.
  
• Develop and support SAP integrations using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs and OData.
  
• Work with SAP BTP, cloud extensibility and side-by-side extension concepts.
  
• Support integration scenarios using SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI.
  
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, SQL optimization, defect analysis and production support.
  
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and scalable SAP solutions.
  
• Prepare technical specifications, technical documentation and test scenarios.
  
• Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, deployment, cutover and post-go-live activities.
  
• Follow SAP Clean Core, S/4HANA development and extensibility best practices.
  
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, business users and global development teams.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-8 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
  
• Strong expertise in ABAP Programming and ABAP Objects / OO-ABAP.
  
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA development.
  
• Strong experience with CDS Views and S/4HANA data models.
  
• Hands-on experience with AMDP and HANA-optimized development.
  
• Experience with RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
  
• Experience with SAP Fiori and OData services.
  
• Strong RICEFW development experience.
  
• Good knowledge of BAdIs, User Exits, Customer Exits and Enhancement Framework.
  
• Experience with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs and OData.
  
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills.
  
• Understanding of SAP Clean Core and modern SAP extensibility.
  
• Experience with SAP transport management, testing and deployment processes.
  
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP and side-by-side extensibility.
  
• Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI.
  
• Experience with Fiori Elements and CAP.
  
• Knowledge of SAP Joule / SAP Business AI.
  
• Experience with Cloud ALM / SAP Solution Manager.
  
• Exposure to Git, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  
• Experience in S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade or transformation projects.
  
• SAP ABAP / S/4HANA certification.
