SAP ABAP Consultant

Key Skills: ABAP, BAPI / BADI, BDC, IDoc, Sap, Debugging

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and support SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and related objects.
• Design and troubleshoot inbound and outbound interfaces, file handling processes, IDocs, BAPIs, and BADIs.
• Manage BDC programs and investigate session failures and related processing issues.
• Analyze production incidents, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution with functional teams.
• Support scheduled jobs, job failures, error handling, and month-end operational activities.

Skills Required:

• 5 to 8 years of relevant SAP ABAP experience, preferably including at least one implementation project.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP development and support.
• Practical experience with IDocs, BDC, BAPIs, and BADIs.
• Ability to troubleshoot enterprise application issues and support scalable business processes.
• Experience with SAP interfaces, file-based integrations, reports, and production support activities.

Good to Have:

• Debugging experience, including SAP Advanced Debugger.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
