SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP technical development. The candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP programming, Reports, Forms, OData Services, API development, CDS Views, Enhancements, Interfaces, and Data Migration. The role involves working closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to design, develop, and support SAP solutions in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support custom SAP ABAP solutions based on business requirements.
• Design and develop Classical, Interactive, ALV, and OOABAP reports.
• Develop and maintain SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
• Develop and enhance OData Services for SAP Fiori applications.
• Design and consume REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
• Develop and maintain CDS Views for reporting, analytics, and Fiori applications.
• Implement enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework.
• Develop and support interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, APIs, Proxies, and Web Services.
• Perform data migration using BDC, BAPI, LSMW, and custom migration programs.
• Conduct debugging, unit testing, performance tuning, and code reviews.
• Prepare technical specifications and support functional teams during testing and deployment.
• Provide production support and resolve technical issues within defined SLAs.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP and OOABAP

• SAP Data Dictionary and Modularization Techniques
• Debugging and Performance Tuning
• REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, RFC, BAPI, IDoc, and Proxy Interfaces
• OData Service and SAP Gateway development
• SAP Fiori integration support
• CDS Views, CDS Annotations, and Consumption Views
• Knowledge of AMDP and Code Pushdown concepts
• User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework
• BDC, BAPI, LSMW, and Data Upload Programs
• Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments
