Sap Abap Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in ABAP development, debugging, integrations, and SAP technical objects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP.
• Develop and support Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEF).
• Work with ABAP Objects, BAPIs, RFCs, Function Modules, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
• Develop and maintain ALV Reports, Classical Reports, Interactive Reports, and Module Pool programs.
• Work with SAP Forms, including Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.
• Develop and support IDocs, APIs, Web Services, and SAP integration interfaces.
• Perform debugging, performance tuning, root-cause analysis, and production support.
• Work closely with functional consultants and business teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
• Follow SAP development standards and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP ABAP Development.
• Hands-on experience with ABAP Objects.
• Strong knowledge of RICEF development.
• Experience with ALV, Reports, BAPIs, RFCs, Function Modules, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements.
• Experience with IDocs and SAP integrations.
• Experience with Smart Forms / Adobe Forms.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of SAP tables, data dictionary (DDIC), structures, domains, data elements, and database concepts.
• Experience working with SQL/Open SQL.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, and Eclipse/ADT.
• Experience with OData / SAP Gateway.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori.
• Experience with SAP HANA performance optimization.
• Knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, or WM.
