SAP ABAP Consultant

Core ABAP:

• Classical and Interactive Reports
• ALV (Classical & OO ALV)
• BDC, BAPI, RFC
• Smart Forms & Adobe Forms
• Enhancements: User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, Implicit & Explicit Enhancements
• OO ABAP and modularization techniques

ABAP on HANA:

• CDS Views (Basic to Complex)
• AMDP
• OData
• ABAP 7.4 & above syntax usage

Others:

• Interfaces : IDOC, Webservices, API Integrations & Proxy Interfaces
• Debugging and Troubleshooting
• Good understanding of SAP Modules (MM, SD, FI, etc.)

Good to Have:

• SAP Fiori backend development
• Workflows / Flexible Workflows
• Knowledge of RAP Concepts
• Sproxy

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into high-quality technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain custom SAP applications using Core ABAP (Reports, ALV, BDC, BAPI, Enhancements, Smart Forms/ User Exits, BADIs).
• Work extensively on ABAP on HANA techniques including:
• CDS Views
• AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)
• HANA Procedures/Functions
• Perform performance tuning and optimize custom code to utilize SAP HANA capabilities effectively.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Design and develop interfaces using ALE/IDOC, RFC, BAPI, Web Services, and OData.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Support UAT and resolve defects within SLA.
