Sap Abap Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and RAP.
• Design and develop RAP Business Objects using managed and unmanaged implementation approaches.
• Create CDS View Entities, projection views, interface views, associations, annotations, and metadata extensions.
• Develop Behavior Definitions (BDEF) and Behavior Implementation classes.
• Implement validations, determinations, actions, functions, and feature control.
• Develop and expose business services using Service Definitions and Service Bindings.
• Work extensively with OData V4 services and Fiori Elements.
• Develop draft-enabled RAP applications and handle transactional scenarios.
• Build and enhance Fiori Elements applications based on RAP services.
• Develop ABAP programs, classes, interfaces, enhancements, BAdIs, and APIs as required.
• Perform ABAP on HANA optimization, including SQL performance tuning and efficient data access.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and support activities.
• Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, transport procedures, and documentation practices.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable SAP solutions.
