Role: SAP ABAP Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in ABAP development, debugging, performance optimization, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Work on Classical Reports, ALV Reports, BAPIs, RFCs, User Exits, Customer Exits, and BADIs.
• Develop and maintain OData services, APIs, and web services.
• Work on Adobe Forms / Smart Forms / SAPscript.
• Perform ABAP debugging, code analysis, and performance tuning.
• Develop and maintain DDIC objects including Tables, Structures, Views, Data Elements, and Domains.
• Work with Open SQL, Internal Tables, Modularization techniques, and Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Analyze functional requirements and prepare technical specifications.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and WM/EWM.
• Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and production support.
• Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and transport management processes.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP.
• Excellent knowledge of ABAP Reports and ALV.
• Experience with BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits, RFC, and Enhancements.
• Good knowledge of ABAP Objects / OO ABAP.
• Experience with Adobe Forms / Smart Forms.
• Strong knowledge of DDIC and Open SQL.
• Experience in debugging and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of OData / REST / SOAP interfaces is preferred.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and CDS Views is an advantage.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
