Sampling Inspector - Coal Testing

Job Responsibilities

• Guide and supervise samplers in collecting coal samples as per the prescribed sampling procedure.
• Ensure proper collection of representative samples through correct increment sampling techniques.
• Supervise day-to-day coal sampling activities at the client plant.
• Monitor sampling procedures to ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
• Verify proper sample identification, handling, labeling, and documentation.
• Prepare sampling reports and maintain required records.
• Coordinate with the client and sampling team for smooth execution of sampling activities.
• Ensure sampling activities are performed safely and efficiently.
• Report any deviation or issue related to sampling to the concerned authority.
• Perform other sampling-related activities as assigned.

Essential Qualification & Experience

• Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Science or Chemistry or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of coal sampling techniques is mandatory.
• Experience in coal sampling at a plant/site will be preferred.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Willingness to work at the client site in Dhanbad.
