About this role
The SAM Pro Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) solutions to optimize software license compliance, reduce software costs, and improve asset visibility. The role focuses on configuring SAM Pro capabilities, integrating software inventory sources, and automating software asset lifecycle processes.
Strong experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro and Asset Management.
Expertise in software normalization, reconciliation, and license compliance processes.
Knowledge of software licensing models (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, SAP, IBM, etc. ).
Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and ITAM modules.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow development best practices.
Experience integrating software inventory and endpoint management tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and reporting skills.
