Key Responsibilities

• Remediate and normalize Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) repositories within ServiceNow.
• Validate and maintain Software Models, including publisher, product, version, edition, and licensability classifications.
• Identify, consolidate, and retire duplicate, obsolete, or inaccurate software model records.
• Review and correct Discovery Model mappings and software relationships.
• Validate software entitlements, license metrics, quantities, editions, maintenance terms, and licensing rights.
• Associate software entitlements with the correct normalized Software Models.
• Create entitlement records based on supporting licensing and contract documentation.
• Execute reconciliation activities and resolve compliance exceptions, unmatched installations, and unallocated entitlements.
• Perform software licensing research and interpret licensing agreements, contracts, and purchase records.
• Document remediation activities, unresolved exceptions, and governance recommendations.

Essential Skills

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow SAM Pro and IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• Deep knowledge of software licensing, entitlement management, and compliance processes.
• Experience with Software Model normalization, cleanup, and remediation.
• Hands-on experience with entitlement validation and model association activities.
• Strong understanding of software publishers, license metrics, editions, suites, and maintenance rights.
• Experience performing software reconciliation and compliance analysis.
• Ability to interpret software contracts, agreements, and procurement documentation.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work EST hours; offshore resources must provide overlap until 12:30 PM EST.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro.
• Knowledge of software procurement and sourcing processes.
• Familiarity with SAP Ariba or strategic sourcing platforms.
• Experience supporting repository governance and operational maintenance frameworks.
• Exposure to complex enterprise software licensing environments.
