Salesforce Support Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for web applications to internal teams and external clients.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues, including performance, configuration, and integration problems.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Monitor application health and proactively identify potential problems.
• Document solutions, create knowledge base articles, and improve support processes.
• Assist with deployments, patches, and version upgrades as needed.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Salesforce
• Familiarity with web servers, APIs, and database systems (SQL).
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and incident management.
• Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and HTTP protocols.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace).
• Familiarity with security best practices for web applications.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in technical support or application support roles.
