Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Salesforce Quality Analyst. The Salesforce Quality Analyst will design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for Salesforce implementations and enhancements across Sales, Service, and related clouds. Responsibilities include validating business requirements, performing regression, functional, and integration testing, documenting defects, and collaborating closely with developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality releases. The role involves creating and managing test data, maintaining test documentation, and supporting UAT by guiding users through test scenarios and feedback. The Salesforce Quality Analyst will also contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes, test automation opportunities, and quality metrics reporting.
Role Overview The Offshore QA Analyst will be responsible for supporting the quality assurance process by understandingrequirements, creating and executing test cases, logging defects, performing retesting, and supportingfunctional, regression, integration, and UAT testing activities. This role will work closely with the onshore QA lead, product owners, developers, and business teams toensure high-quality delivery across different phases of the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Create, update, and execute manual test cases. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing. Log, track, retest, and close defects with proper documentation. Participate in daily stand-ups, QA meetings, and defect triage calls. Validate UI behavior, data accuracy, workflows, and system integrations. Prepare and maintain test data as needed. Support test environment validation and readiness checks. Ensure traceability between requirements and test cases. Update test execution status and report testing progress. Work with developers to analyze, reproduce, and resolve defects. Support automation test execution where applicable. Follow QA standards, templates, and best practices defined by the QA lead. Assist in preparing test evidence, screenshots, and documentation for audit or governance needs. Identify gaps in requirements, test cases, or system behavior and communicate them clearly. Support release testing and production validation activities as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications Good understanding of QA methodologies and software testing lifecycle. Experience working in Agile projects. Hands-on experience in test case design, execution, defect logging, and retesting. Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar test management tools. Basic understanding of functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing. Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into test scenarios. Good communication skills, especially when working with onshore teams. Ability to work independently and provide clear daily status updates. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Tosca, UiPath, or similar tools is a plus. Experience in large enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, or S/4HANA is a plus.
Preferred Experience 3–6 years of QA/testing experience. Experience working as part of an offshore delivery team. Experience coordinating with onshore QA leads, developers, and business users. Exposure to test automation execution or basic automation scripting. Experience in data validation, integration testing, and end-to-end business process testing. Reporting & Coordination The Offshore QA Analyst will report to the QA Lead or Project Manager and will work closely with onshoreand offshore team members to ensure timely and quality delivery.
