    About this role

The Salesforce QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications built on the Salesforce platform. This role designs and executes test plans, develops automation scripts, and works closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to validate functionality, performance, and compliance. The ideal candidate has experience testing custom Salesforce applications (including Apex, LWC, and Flows), creating test automation frameworks, and driving quality throughout the development lifecycle. Strong communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills are essential for success in this role.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans for Salesforce applications, integrations, and platform customizations.
    • Validate functionality across multiple Salesforce clouds (e. g., Sales, Service, Experience, and Health Cloud) and user personas.
    • Collaborate with developers and admins to understand requirements, user stories, and testable criteria.
    • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or similar.
    • Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing on new features and during release cycles.
    • Validate changes across environments (dev, QA, staging, and production) and ensure test data integrity.
    • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and release readiness activities in Agile environments.
    • Raise clear and actionable bug reports with supporting screenshots, logs, and reproduction steps.
    • Track test coverage, execution results, and quality metrics over time.
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, security, and data governance requirements during testing.
    • Assist in UAT coordination and release validation efforts with business stakeholders.
    • Continuously improve testing processes, documentation, and tool usage across the QA practice.
    • Note: This is not an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, and requirements of the position described above. Other functions may be assigned, and management retains the right to add or change duties at any time.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
    • 3+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce platform testing.
    • Experience validating Salesforce features across Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and third-party managed packages.
    • Working knowledge of the Salesforce data model, security model, and environment strategies.
    • Proficiency in creating and maintaining test automation frameworks (e. g., Selenium, WebDriverIO, Provar, Copado RT, TestNG).
    • Familiarity with test case management tools (e. g., TestRail, Zephyr), defect tracking (Jira), and Git-based workflows.
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive mindset.
    • Ability to document and communicate test strategies, results, and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and participating in sprint-based delivery.
    • Salesforce certification (e. g., Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder) is a plus.

    Quality Standards:

    • Effectively communicates and collaborates with IT teams, management, and end-users.
    • Demonstrates initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, and integrity, and exercises confidentiality in all areas of performance.
    • Attends regular corporate meetings as requested.
    • Follows HIPAA, compliance, privacy, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times.
    • Promotes good public relations on the phone and in person.
    • Adapts to new technologies, system changes, and evolving business needs.
    • Maintains documentation and tracking of system modifications, support tickets, and resolution steps.
    • Reports to work regularly as scheduled; is consistently punctual with respect to working hours and lunch schedules; and maintains satisfactory personal attendance in accordance with RadNet guidelines.
    • Completes job responsibilities in a quality and timely manner.
