Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Salesforce Performance Testing Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating the scalability, responsiveness, and stability of our Salesforce implementation under load. This role involves working closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand performance requirements and deliver reliable, actionable testing insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Test Planning and Strategy:

Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand non-functional requirements and define performance test strategy and estimations.

Design and develop performance test scenarios covering load, stress, endurance, and spike testing for Salesforce and integrated systems.

Select appropriate performance testing tools (e.g., NeoLoad, JMeter) and frameworks based on project needs.

Test Execution and Analysis:

Execute performance test scripts and analyze results for response times, throughput, CPU/memory usage, and server/resource bottlenecks.

Integrate performance test executions into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Copado.

Create detailed performance test reports with root cause analysis and optimization recommendations.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to support performance benchmarking throughout the software development lifecycle.

Communicate performance risks and test results effectively to stakeholders.

Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest Salesforce platform performance considerations and cloud infrastructure best practices.

Continuously improve performance test approaches, tools, and reporting mechanisms.

Experience:

• 4–8 years of experience in performance testing, with hands-on experience in tools such as NeoLoad, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies including load, stress, and soak testing.
• Experience in testing cloud-based platforms, preferably Salesforce.
• Good experience in analyzing performance logs and server/resource utilization metrics.
• Familiarity with integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and related tools.
• Basic understanding of APIs and ability to include API-level performance testing.
• Experience with SQL for data validation and backend performance analysis.

Skills:

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Certifications (Preferred):

Salesforce certifications or relevant performance testing tool certifications (e.g., NeoLoad Certified Professional).
