Salesforce Marketing Cloud Lead

We are looking for an experienced Custom Software Engineer with strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to join our team in Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining scalable software solutions and Marketing Cloud components. The role involves working closely with multiple teams, understanding complex business requirements, providing technical solutions, and ensuring high-quality delivery using modern development practices and Agile methodologies.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to operate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) while mentoring and guiding team members.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related solutions.
• Design, develop, and enhance custom software components and solutions.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to understand requirements and provide effective technical solutions.
• Take ownership of technical and team-level decisions.
• Analyze complex system requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
• Identify and implement process improvements to improve team productivity and software quality.
• Participate in Agile development, sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform debugging, and optimize application performance.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, development best practices, and quality processes.
• Mentor junior team members and support their technical and professional development.
• Contribute to key technical decisions across teams and help drive successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• Must Have: Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Experience designing and implementing custom software solutions using modern development frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and software development best practices.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms and system integration techniques.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and quality standards.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Education: 15 years of full-time education is mandatory.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Comfortable working as an SME and collaborating with multiple teams.
• Demonstrated ability to make technical decisions and solve complex problems.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
• Willingness to work from the Chennai office.
