About this role
Responsibilities:
- Build and extend Experience Cloud portals for partner and customer sites, self-registration and onboarding, sharing and guest security, LWC, and page development.
- Build on-platform features like Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow on custom objects alongside the managed lending package.
- Build integrations to the established design REST, GraphQL, and SOAP, Platform Events, and integration-platform recipes with error handling, retries, idempotent design, and monitoring.
- Write disciplined unit tests and maintain coverage; document designs and runbooks in Confluence.
- Join the client's daily standup (US Pacific overlap window) and communicate directly with client stakeholders, business, product, and platform owners.
- Own assigned stories end-to-end within the design set by the tech lead; take a production-support rotation; raise risks and blockers early, never late.
- Portal and lending-platform enhancements: new capabilities on the installer-partner and homeowner portals and on the origination platform application intake, status visibility, and document and e-signature steps.
- Post-origination processes: funding, disbursement, and servicing hand-off steps built on custom objects alongside the managed package, to designs set by the tech lead, never inside the package.
- Partner APIs with monitoring: externally consumed APIs for installer and channel partners, with authentication, versioning, logging, alerting, and replay built in from the first release.
- NetSuite quote-to-cash integration: customer/account, product and pricing sync; opportunity sales order; invoice and payment status back-sync; reconciliation of Salesforce, ERP, and warehouse data.
Requirements:
- Experience Cloud partner portals: has implemented at least one Experience Cloud partner portal end-to-end site build (LWR or Aura), self-registration and onboarding flow, sharing and guest-user security, and partner user licensing. Candidates who have shipped a partner portal go to the top of the list.
- Lending domain: Salesforce in financial services or consumer lending origination lifecycle, borrower and partner (dealer/installer) journeys.
- Loan-origination package: hands-on with a Salesforce-native loan/lease origination managed package. Q2 Cloud Lending/Symphonix experience preferred.
- Salesforce core: Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL, asynchronous Apex, Platform Events, Named Credentials, Salesforce CDC, Bulk and Streaming APIs.
- Delivery tooling: SFDX, Git, GitHub Actions CI/CD, PMD; release checklists; Jira and Confluence.
- APIs and integrations: REST, GraphQL, and SOAP; working knowledge of API contracts, versioning, auth, and error handling; an integration platform of the Workato / MuleSoft / Boomi class; AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and SQS exposure.
- NetSuite integration (working exposure): SuiteTalk (REST/SOAP) or RESTlets; quote-to-cash and order-to-cash object flows between Salesforce and NetSuite.
- Snowflake and data reconciliation (working exposure): Salesforce CDC or batch extraction into Snowflake; reconciling platform data against ERP and finance.
- Communication: camera-on meetings, direct stakeholder communication in clear English; works the US business calendar and US federal holidays.
- Overlap: a daily overlap of at least 4 hours with US Pacific time (mandatory); confirmed in the first screen.
- Experience: 3-6 years on the Salesforce platform, including at least one portal or lending implementation.
Nice to have:
- Portal login federated to an external identity provider (OIDC / SAML single sign-on for Experience Cloud users).
- Sales, Service, and Financial Services Cloud breadth: Einstein and Agentforce, Kafka, or Azure Event Hubs.
- Solar-financing, renewable-energy, or fintech domain; prior work with US enterprise clients from offshore.
Certification:
- Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I (minimum).
- Preferred: Experience Cloud Site Consultant.
