As a Salesforce Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving technology innovation and operational excellence across our private markets and public Investments businesses. You will work closely with our Digital business partners and technology teams to design, implement, and optimize Salesforce solutions that enhance client experiences, streamline operations, and support the continued growth of our platform.

MAM runs Salesforce solutions across multiple businesses, each with engineering leads who own their solutions end to end. As MAM Salesforce Architect, you will provide the architectural thread across all of them: consistent standards, integration, SDLC and operational practices, and a safe path for new capabilities such as AI and Data360. You will also shape our commercial relationship with Salesforce and build MAMs standing with the vendor and the wider Salesforce community. This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role. You will influence through expertise, credibility, and relationships. You will partner closely with the engineering leads, data architects, business stakeholders, and senior technology leaders.

Role Overview

• Provide the architectural thread across all Salesforce solutions within MAM: set consistent standards, integration, SDLC and operational practices, and enable new capabilities such as AI and Data360.
• Shape the commercial relationship with Salesforce and build MAMs standing with the vendor and the wider Salesforce community.
• This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role; influence through expertise, credibility, and relationships.
• Partner closely with the engineering leads, data architects, business stakeholders, and senior technology leaders.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 10-12 years in software engineering, including 7+ years designing and delivering on Salesforce, with experience running Salesforce in production at an enterprise scale.
• 10+ years in enterprise technology, including 8+ years designing, implementing, and governing Salesforce platforms in complex global organizations.
• Strong hands-on expertise in the Salesforce platform (Apex, LWC, Flow, APIs, data model, security and sharing, governor limits) and the judgment to guide others on detailed design.
• Proven enterprise architecture experience across multiple orgs or business units, including integration with enterprise systems (REST/SOAP, events, middleware, data platforms).
• Experience establishing SDLC, DevOps and operational/SRE practices for Salesforce at scale.
• Experience managing the Salesforce vendor relationship, ideally including licensing or contract negotiation.
• Ability to present to and influence senior leaders, and to advise peers and engineering teams without formal authority.
• Experience introducing AI or data capabilities
• Experience in financial services or asset management, especially private markets, alternatives, investor relations or wealth is desirable
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python or data engineering.
