Job Description Sales Trainee

Role PurposeTo develop a pipeline of young sales talent through the Kajaria Sales Leadership Program. The selected candidates will undergo structured onboarding, corporate orientation, product and plant exposure, and performance evaluation before deployment in their respective target locations.

• Sales Target Achievement Work towards assigned sales targets and business objectives for the allocated territory.
• Market and Customer Engagement Support sales activities and engage with dealers, retailers, customers and other relevant market stakeholders.
• Territory Management and Execution Develop an understanding of the assigned market, identify business opportunities and execute sales activities within the territory.
• Business Development Support market expansion, customer acquisition and sales conversion activities in line with business requirements.
• Business Coordination and Reporting Maintain regular sales updates, prepare required reports and coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Learning and Development Complete the prescribed orientation, product/display exposure and plant training.
• Demonstrate learning agility, sales readiness and role suitability during the evaluation period.

Eligibility Criteria

• 03 years of work experience.
• Candidates must be below 28 years of age.
• Sales experience or a sales-oriented background is mandatory. Candidates from any industry may be considered, provided they have relevant sales experience.
• Preference for candidates whose current or permanent base location is the same as the target deployment location.
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in the relevant local language is essential. Average English communication skills are acceptable.
• Willingness to undertake field sales activities and work in the assigned territory.

Program Structure Stage Details

• Corporate Orientation 4-6 days at the Corporate Office.
• Product and Plant Exposure Structured exposure to products, displays and plant operations as prescribed by the program.
• Performance Evaluation 30 days Deployment Placement in the respective target location, subject to successful evaluation and business requirements

Compensation Budget
