Sales Trainer

Role & responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured sales training programs for new hires and experienced sales teams.
• Conduct product knowledge, sales process, objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills training.
• Develop training material such as presentations, role-play scenarios, scripts, assessments, and e-learning modules.
• Work closely with Sales Managers, Product, and Marketing teams to align training with business objectives.
• Observe sales calls, meetings, and role-plays to provide coaching and feedback.
• Measure training effectiveness through assessments, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Identify skill gaps and recommend focused training or coaching interventions.
• Support onboarding programs and reduce sales ramp-up time.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitor strategies, and modern sales tools.
• Maintain training documentation and reports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of sales processes (B2B/B2C as applicable).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Proven coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to analyze sales data and performance metrics.
• High adaptability and problem-solving mindset.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
