Sales Trainee (GET)

Role & responsibilities

As a GET, you will be responsible for understanding technical products, engaging with customers, and driving sales by providing technical solutions. This role requires a mix of technical knowledge and sales skills to effectively communicate product value to customers and achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of company products and their applications.
• Assist the Sales team in identifying and engaging with potential customers to generate leads and drive sales.
• Provide technical support and solutions to customers based on their needs.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Operations, engineering, production, planning and logistics) to ensure smooth project execution. • Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and follow up on customer inquiries.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' offerings.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Industrial Instrumentation, or relevant field).

• Experience: Freshers. • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Technical aptitude and the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical customers. • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and problem-solving. • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and field visits.

Preferred Skills: • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office tools. • Basic understanding of sales techniques and strategies.
