Sales Trader cum Dealer (Derivatives)

• An institutional equities house is hiring a Sales Trader cum Dealer for its institutional derivatives desk.
• This is a client-facing seat alongside execution.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle institutional derivative sales trading alongside dealing responsibilities
• Handle arbitrage trades for DII, MF, FPI or proprietary books
• Generate ideation for spreads and rollovers for institutional clients
• Manage client relationships and communication through the trading day
• Automate order updates and confirmations through advanced Excel

Hard requirement:

• Experience handling arbitrage trades for DII, MF, FPI or prop books.
• Arbitrage and derivatives experience is a must.

Technical skills:

• Strong understanding of arbitrage, dividends and roll concepts; excellent Excel skills with the ability to automate order updates and confirmations; knowledge of AI tools is an added benefit.
• Established connections with institutional clients are required.
