Sales Team Lead - Tours & Travels

Job Overview:

We are hiring for a growing experiential travel and offbeat tourism company that specializes in curated travel experiences, local excursions, cultural experiences, nature explorations and corporate/group travel.

The role involves leading the sales team, developing corporate relationships, driving B2B sales and closing high-value group bookings. The ideal candidate should have experience in sales and team management, preferably in the travel, tourism, hospitality or leisure industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve monthly and business targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and explore avenues for revenue growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners and key accounts.
• Drive repeat business and secure high-value group and corporate bookings.
• Lead negotiations and close high-value B2B and corporate deals while maintaining client satisfaction.
• Monitor sales performance, revenue reports and key sales metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Set targets and provide regular guidance, coaching and support to the sales team.
• Motivate and engage the team to maintain focus and achieve sales objectives.
• Work closely with operations and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.
• Stay updated on changing customer preferences, travel trends and seasonal opportunities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in sales and team management.
• Experience in the travel, tourism, leisure or hospitality industry is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in B2B and corporate sales, preferably involving high-value deals.
• Prior experience in leading, managing or mentoring a sales team.
• Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand sales reports, revenue data and basic financial information.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing client requirements and market trends.
• Strong interpersonal skills, confidence and a customer-focused approach.
