Sales Support Administrator

Description

We are looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Sales Support Administrator to provide essential support across our wider sales organisation.
Working in a complex, multi-faceted EdTech environment, you'll help sales team manage the detail behind the opportunities—from keeping CRM data accurate and up to date, to preparing pricing proposals, coordinating internal approvals and ensuring opportunities progress smoothly through the sales process.
This is a varied role that sits at the heart of the sales operation. You'll work with account managers and Territory Partner Managers alongside other internal stakeholders, helping salespeople spend more time selling and less time managing administration.

Key Responsibilities

CRM & Sales Administration:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and opportunity information within the CRM.
• Support sales teams with CRM administration, including creating and updating opportunities, contacts, and leads.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and compliance with agreed sales processes.
• Produce reports and provide sales teams with relevant CRM information where needed.
• Provide support across lead qualification, account research, contract and account status checks, order status follow-up, invoice query coordination, professional services quote preparation and onboarding/offboarding administration.

Sales Team Support:

• Provide day-to-day administrative support across the wider sales team.
• Coordinate information and actions between Sales, Finance, Product, Marketing and other internal teams.
• Help sales teams navigate internal processes and connect with the right teams to progress customer opportunities.
• Work with Sales Operations and other teams to improve the efficiency of the sales journey.

Process & Continuous Improvement:

• Adhere to established processes and workflows as directed and provide input on new processes where needed

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Commercially aware and interested in how sales teams operate.
• Confident working with data, systems and CRM platforms.
• Decent Excel skills and comfortable working with numbers and pricing.
• A clear communicator, able to work effectively with people across different teams.
• Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to identify issues and take action.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working independently while being a collaborative member of the wider sales team.
• Experience supporting Commercial EdTech teams would be an advantage

Previous experience in sales administration, sales operations, commercial administration or a similar role would be beneficial. Experience with a CRM such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics would also be advantageous.
