About the Role

ZEISS Medical Technology is looking for a results-driven Sales Associate – Consumables to drive sales growth and expand market presence across the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience selling Intraocular Lenses (IOLs) and a strong understanding of the ophthalmology market.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive IOL and ophthalmic consumables sales within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with ophthalmologists, cataract surgeons, eye hospitals and clinics.
• Identify new business opportunities and acquire new customers.
• Manage dealers and distributors to achieve sales targets.
• Prepare sales forecasts, monitor pipelines and track performance against targets.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor products, pricing and activities.
• Ensure timely payment collections and adherence to company policies.
• Coordinate with marketing and internal teams to support customer engagement and business growth.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in ophthalmology sales, preferably with direct IOL sales exposure.
• Strong knowledge of IOL products and the cataract surgery market.
• Experience handling hospitals, eye clinics, ophthalmologists and channel partners.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing territories.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
